Thank you for your interest in Notre Dame Village, a community of living and learning on the Sisters of Notre Dame campus in western Geauga County, Ohio. We continue to work on details about this exciting development, while crews have been busy taking advantage of the summer weather.
The top photo shows the second story going up on the independent living apartments. The walls are going up on the memory care homes as shown in the second. In the final photo, Sisters of Notre Dame recently signed their names and blessings to the final construction beam. This fun tradition enables well-wishers to sign the beam, which is the last support beam to be hoisted into place. There are a great many blessings going into this development!
- cottage homes: two-bedroom/two-bathroom one-story homes with private garages
- apartments with independent and supported living: a variety of floor plans including one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom
- memory care assisted living in small memory care homes: three houses, each for 12 residents who are living with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory impairment
Notre Dame Village is a unique collaboration between two non-profit organizations: the Sisters of Notre Dame, an international congregation of more than two thousand apostolic women religious, and Jennings, who is celebrating 75 years of offering residences and services for adults 55 and older.
We are not yet accepting applications. We continue to work on finalizing details, such as rates and services, and expect to be able to provide more information soon.
